VINTAGE ELECTRIC. Vintage Electric is a new virtual instrument based on a reproduction of a vintage electric piano Fender Rhodes Mark I (1976) with a full range of dynamics (from soft to distorted sounds), release noise and pedal resonance.
THE INSTRUMENT. Music first! "Vintage Electric" is based on an old Fender Rhodes Mark I electric piano made in 1976.
SETTINGS. Find your own sound To find out the best sounds from the piano I had to work with the screwdriver note by note.
RECORDING. Take it! I recorded my "Vintage Electric" ny amazing Apogee Symphony I/O mkii sound card for the best audio resolution and musical details.
ANALYSIS. Observation! By a careful analysis of the sound I found a great variation of the harmonic spectrum during the dynamic range of the tines.
EDITING. Composing the sound I used up to 16 dynamic layers for each note of the instrument; a dynamic response control and effects.
ENVELOPES. Play it again Sam! All the samples of the Vintage Electric has been recorded for all the duration for a natural decay of sounds.
PRESETS. All the sounds you need The 4 presets allow the musician to find his own sound: from soft sound to hard and distorted. The presets with "Envelope" in the name don't use the "Note Off velocity" for resonance (forcontroller keyboard with fixed Note Off velocity trasmission).
CONTROLS. Power is nothing without control. Control panel with: Dynamic Response, key release volume. pedal resonance volume. , Tremolo, Chorus and Reverb controls.
UVI POWERED. Play it now and ...FREE! Vintage Electric comes with its own sample player, the Uvi Workstation 2 (v2.5.6 or later). Uvi provides it for free! It works on Mac (10.6 or later) and PC (windows XP SP2 or later), in standalone or as a plugin (VST, AU, AAX, RTAS, MAS) and in 32 and 64 bits.
COPY PROTECTION. Save your sounds! Vintage Electric is protected by the PACE Protection System. You can register your virtual instrument to your computer or to an iLok key (version 1 or version 2). To authorize your library, please download the iLok authorization manager.
