DSL offers a diverse range of features across the entire series including power reduction, studio quality reverb and two foot-switchable channels. Combined this means that no matter your environment, you can really experiment and release your alter ego. PLAY ANYWHERE - From your bedroom, to the studio and the stage. With an emulated output and power reduction features you can play the DSL range in a variety of environments. TURN UP THE GAIN - Empower your creative side. The range has two foot-switchable gain channels, ultra gain and classic gain. You can experiment with your sound by switching from ultra clean to heavy distortion and everything in between. STAND OUT FROM THE CROWD - Bringing you to the front of the stage. The DSL series has one master volume for each channel means that you can create explosive solo moments.
From bright shimmering clean tones to punchy aggressive gain, the DSL1 Combo has the features to provide the sound that suits you. It has the features and Marshall tone that is expected from the DSL Series but is compact and portable, perfect for those bedroom players. PLAY AT HOME - With an emulated output and power reduction to 0.1w the DSL1 is perfect for recording and playing in the bedroom. We have specifically engineered for a great sound at low levels so, you can reduce power to 0.1w. CHOOSE YOUR TONE - Using the two foot-switchable gain channels you can go from clean, classic tones to those with added distortion and extra bite. SELECT YOUR FX - Create the music you want using the studio quality reverb, tone shift and FX loop.
The DSL 1 Head and DSL 1 Combo feature the same functions. The combo is equipped with an 8” Celestion Eight-15 speaker chosen for its ability to deliver exceptional tone at lower volumes. The DSL features two foot switchable channels: CLASSIC GAIN and ULTRA GAIN. The CLASSIC GAIN channel delivers sparkling clean sounds through to the more aggressive break-up of a Marshall JCM800 amplifier. The ULTRA GAIN channel provides even more distortion and break-up for players looking for higher gain tone from their amplifier. Both channels share a passive three-band EQ, with BASS, MIDDLE and TREBLE controls. The EQ section also features Tone Shift, which when activated reconfigures the pre-amp mid frequencies making DSL ideal for contemporary metal tones, especially when combined with higher gain settings. The DSL 1 features professional quality digital REVERB and a series FX LOOP, giving you rich valve tone at an ear-friendly volume.
