The range has two foot-switchable gain channels, ultra gain and classic gain. You can experiment with your sound by switching from ultra clean to heavy distortion and everything in between. The DSL20 Combo has a 12” Celestion Seventy-80 speaker for those who require extraordinary tone and versatility. From the moment you plug in, the DSL provides you with rich functionality for you to create your sound and unleash your alter ego. CHOOSE YOUR TONE - Using the two foot-switchable gain channels, reverb, FX loop and tone shift controls you can adapt the sound to suit your style. PICK YOUR ENVIRONMENT - Power can be reduced from 20w to 10w without affecting the quality, so you can play wherever you are with confidence. VARY THE OUTPUT - The DSL20 combo has three speaker outlets allowing for a combination of two speakers, the ability to record and a standby function for silent recording meaning it can be taken from the bedroom, to the studio and onto a gig. SELECT YOUR FX - You can have more bite and punch to your tone with the presence function and the resonance will give your sound depth.
The DSL 20 Head and DSL 20 Combo feature the same functions. The combo is equipped with a 12” Celestion Seventy-80 speaker chosen for its ability to deliver exceptional tone and flexibility. The DSL features two foot switchable channels: CLASSIC GAIN and ULTRA GAIN. The CLASSIC GAIN channel can deliver sparkling clean sounds through to the more aggressive break-up of a Marshall JCM800 amplifier. The ULTRA GAIN channel provides even more distortion and break-up for players looking for high gain tone from their amplifier. Both channels share a passive three-band EQ, with BASS, MIDDLE and TREBLE controls. The EQ section also features Tone Shift, which when activated reconfigures the pre-amp mid frequencies making DSL ideal for contemporary metal tones, especially when combined with higher gain settings. The DSL 20 features professional quality digital REVERB and a series FX LOOP. The LOW POWER function adds a further dimension to the DSL sound, giving you rich valve tone at an ear-friendly volume.
