Greer Amps CAM 18 GEN2
The Greer Amps CAM 18 is the answer to a request from one of our first endorsers. Casey Meyer asked for an 18 watt amplifier, with a master volume.  The CAM 18 was Greer Amps' answer to this request. The CAM 18 features a pair of 6V6s, running in cathode biased, Class A operation. The CAM 18 blends the grit and the growl with the bright and the jangle, joining and conjoining archetypal guitar amps of rock's storied tradition. Country, rock, and blues players will all find tones that are familiar to them in this amplifier.  The cleans on this amp have that certain "chime" and "sparkle." The CAM 18 distorts in a harmonically rich, and complex way. It produces wonderful classic rock and modern country tones!  This amp is the little cousin to the Thunderbolt 30, featuring a different voicing and feel.
CAM 18 GEN2 features a new logo, some small circuit tweaks that Nick has always wanted to include. It still has that awesome CAM18 tone, though! A combination of Heyboer and Mercury Magnetics transformers are custom wound for Greer Amps. Some specific units might have both transformers from either company, we tune all amps to have just the right sound.
