GeoSWAM Collection I & II is the complete GeoSWAM instrument library for GeoShred Studio: all eleven physically modeled Western instruments, spanning solo strings, orchestral woodwinds, brass, and jazz saxophone. Each instrument responds to pressure, gesture, and continuous touch input on GeoShred's expressive playing surface, delivering real-time physical simulation of bow, reed, breath, and plucked-string interaction rather than sample playback.
Works with MPE controllers, wind and breath controllers, and GeoShred Control, a free iPhone and iPad companion app that delivers a multi-touch expressive surface for live performance.
GeoSWAM Collection I & II brings together every physically modeled instrument in the GeoSWAM library: eleven solo voices drawn from the Western orchestral, jazz, and chamber traditions. The combined bundle includes the bowed string section (GeoViolin, GeoViola, GeoCello) plus pizzicato double bass (GeoPizzBass); the full orchestral woodwind family (GeoFlute, GeoBassFlute, GeoOboe, GeoClarinet); brass (GeoTrumpet, GeoBassTrombone); and the defining voice of jazz saxophone (GeoTenorSax). Purchased individually, these eleven instruments total $550. GeoSWAM Collection I & II is available for $400, a savings of $150 over the individual prices and $50 over the price of the two collections purchased separately.
Every instrument runs inside GeoShred Studio, where continuous pressure, gesture, and position across the multi-row pitch surface map directly to bow dynamics, embouchure, lip tension, breath, vibrato, and articulation in real time. Inside that environment, the SWAM physical modeling engine simulates the behavior of bow, reed, breath, and body as a live acoustic event rather than triggering pre-recorded samples. For composers and producers scoring for film and television, building orchestral mockups, arranging jazz and chamber ensembles, or performing solo passages with studio-grade expressive control, GeoSWAM Collection I & II provides the most comprehensive GeoSWAM palette available inside a single performance environment.
