YFX Japanese Grand for Pianoteq. Inspired by the exceptional Japanese piano craftsmanship, the YFX is a Grand Piano with a distinctive character: precise, balanced and remarkably expressive.
The Pianoteq virtual model of the YFX brings a new voice to your recordings, live performances and everyday practice, through a dedicated software or as a DAW plugin.
The Modartt team invested extensive research and development into refining the physical model, which includes the latest soundboard refinements introduced with Pianoteq 9, all while preserving Pianoteq's lightweight design, quick loading times, and exclusive customization options.
Clarity that carries. The clear, beautifully singing voice of the YFX retains excellent definition and consistency across the entire keyboard. Its powerful, well-defined bass provides depth and authority while remaining clear and controlled, even in the most demanding passages.
A great all-rounder. Whether played live or recorded in the studio, the YFX feels immediately at home in all musical styles. Its clarity and responsiveness encourage musicians to play boldly, explore new ideas and discover fresh musical possibilities. Explore the music of Pianoteq users who have been captivated by this extraordinary virtual piano.
