Studio Orchestral Percussion provides you not only with lots of instruments you’re certainly going to need, such as triangles, castanets, and shakers, but also with a shipload of things you may not have thought about before, including brake disks and a lion’s roar. These instruments are also part of Vienna’s Studio Percussion Collection.
Grouped. Grouped in orchestral, Latin, and effects categories, these instruments and gadgets will add unique textures, rhythms, and colors to any production. From the crisp accents of triangles and woodblocks to the vibrant energy of bongos and cowbells, and the dramatic impact of wind machines and thunder sheets, these instruments open up a world of creative possibilities.
As Needed. The different instruments were sampled with a wide variety of articulations according to their characteristics. This includes not only the staple single strokes and rolls, but also, e.g., upbeats, glissandos, or repetition patterns at different speeds.
Sampling. The library features a full set of articulations for the instruments. Recording the samples relatively dry at the Silent Stage makes it possible to place them on your virtual stage and in the stereo field wherever you like, but also enables you to integrate them with the Synchron Series by using the internal convolution reverb of Vienna Synchron Stage.
