Vienna Brass Choir. A muted trombone ensemble delivers a rich, resonant sound with an air of restrained power. This brass choir creates a cohesive, balanced texture, making it perfect for building harmonic foundations or adding warmth and depth to your orchestral works. The muted variation introduces a captivating softness, offering subdued tonal colors ideal for modern scoring. Recorded in its purest form at Vienna’s purpose-built “Silent Stage” with its tight, controlled ambience, this versatile ensemble shines elegantly in projects across genres.
Triple Power. This muted trombone ensemble consists of three musicians who brought all their experience and artistry to the recording sessions – and now also to your studio. Discover the captivating variety of subdued brassy colors, played in perfect harmony and offering rich musical textures made possible by the use of “sordinos” (mutes).
Versatile & Expressive. The library features a full set of expressive and dynamic articulations, offering various short and long notes, legatos (including fast legatos), crescendos and diminuendos, sfz, sffz, pfp, flutter tongue, and half and whole tone trills. Recording the samples relatively dry at the Silent Stage makes it possible to place them on your virtual stage and in the stereo field wherever you like, but also enables you to integrate the ensemble with the Synchron Series by using the internal convolution reverb recreating Vienna’s own scoring stage, Vienna Synchron Stage.
