With an emulated output and power reduction features you can play the DSL range in a variety of environments. TURN UP THE GAIN - Empower your creative side. The range has two foot-switchable gain channels, ultra gain and classic gain. You can experiment with your sound by switching from ultra clean to heavy distortion and everything in between. The DSL40 has been designed with a 12” G-12 v-type speaker for those who need exceptional tone and flexibility. With rich functionality including the ability to move between two sounds within each gain channel, players can experiment and release their personality through sound. CHOOSE YOUR TONE - Using the reverb, FX loop, tone shift controls and two foot-switchable gain channels you can create a style that suits you and another to release your alter ego. STAND OUT ON STAGE - The DSL40 has two master volumes for those loud solo moments. VARY THE OUTPUT - The DSL40 has five speaker outputs giving you plenty of flexibility and the ability to record, with a standby function for silent recording as well. It can be taken from the bedroom, to the studio and onto a gig. PICK YOUR ENVIRONMENT - Power can be reduced from 40w to 20w without affecting the quality meaning the DSL40 can be used in multiple environments with confidence. MIDI COMPATIBILITY - The amps features can be controlled using any MIDI equipment, so for those technical players you can play this amp and different MIDI equipment at any one time.
The DSL 100 Head and 40 Combo feature the same functions. The combo is loaded with a 12” G12 V-type speaker chosen for its ability to deliver exceptional tone and flexibility. The DSL features two foot switchable channels: CLASSIC GAIN and ULTRA GAIN. The CLASSIC GAIN channel delivers sparkling clean sounds through to the more aggressive break-up of a Marshall JCM800 amplifier. The ULTRA GAIN channel provides even more distortion and break-up for players looking for higher gain tones from their amplifier. Both channels share a passive three-band EQ, with BASS, MIDDLE and TREBLE controls. The EQ section also features Tone Shift, which when activated reconfigures the pre-amp mid frequencies making DSL ideal for contemporary metal tones, especially when combined with higher gain settings. The DSL features professional quality digital REVERB and a series FX LOOP. The LOW POWER function adds a further dimension to the DSL sound, giving you rich valve tone at an ear-friendly volume. For the most demanding players, the DSL 40 Combo and DSL 100 Head feature MIDI compatibility meaning outboard MIDI equipment can access all the features needed to perform.
