Overloud's Comp G is the revolutionary simulation of a legendary American VCA Master Bus compressor. Comp G adds features that are not available in the original hardware, such as mid–side processing, parallel compression and EQ on the sidechain. Parallel compression is a powerful mixing technique that helps improve the overall impact of the track while leaving the transients intact.

BEYOND THE ORIGINAL HARDWARE. Comp G adds features that are not available in the original hardware, such as mid–side processing, parallel compression and EQ on the sidechain.
BUILT-IN PARALLEL COMPRESSION. Parallel compression is a powerful mixing technique that helps improve the overall impact of the track while leaving the transients intact. With the Comp G you can create this technique without needing complex routings inside your DAW–just turn the Parallel knob!
BUILT-IN MID-SIDE PROCESSING. With Comp G you can separately compress the Mono (Mid) and Stereo (side) elements of the track, using different compression settings for each, giving you complete control over the dynamics. For instance, you can squeeze the stereo aspect to tighten the room mics and get an in-your-face drum sound.
BUILT-IN LOW CUT ON SIDECHAIN. You can tweak a Low Cut filter on the Sidechain in Comp G to reduce the compressor sensitivity to the lower frequencies. This is particularly useful to control the "pumping" effect in the stem or mix due to pulsating bass frequencies.
